Parkland Water Leak and a Hardwood Floor
We all recognize hardwood flooring as being elegant and a beautiful material to walk upon. When a water leak from an adjacent power room soaked these boards, you can see the cupping. The uneven absorption of the water forced the edges up and stressed the joints of the planks. Fortunately, the Parkland homeowner immediately our SERVPRO team to remove the small amount of water still on the surface. We can also use drying mats to suction hidden moisture and bound water from the tongue and groove joints. Without sufficient drying, incremental damage can occur to the expensive flooring. The After Photo shows some of the cupped edges sanded and then a new finish placed upon the hardwood flooring. You can on our skilled team that holds a Commercial Contractor License #: CBC1261730 to complete the job, "Like it never even happened."
