Coral Springs Saturated Carpet Results in Water Damage

It is hard to see the water damage in this Before Photo, but this Coral Springs hallway has complete saturation. The technicians determined that the carpet required removal, however due to the weight of water-loaded carpet, SERVPRO technicians extracted the water so safe removal is possible and used their state-of-the-art moisture detection equipment to ensure they tracked and found all water migration paths. Fortunately, the baseboards did not require removal, and the water did not migrate within the walls which mean opening the wall cavities for drying was not needed. The After Photo shows the hallway after the removal of the carpet and padding. The cleaned and dried subfloor has been made ready for re-installation of new carpet.
